Haryana: Panel to look into 7th pay commission recommendations

The Haryana government has constituted a committee to examine the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. Once the commitee submits its report, the recommendations of the Pay Commission would be implemented in the state.

Stating this Wednesday, Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu said the committee will submit its report within two months. He said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accorded approval to constitute the committee and it will soon start functioning. He said a provision in the budget had also been made for the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission.

Abhimanyu said the study committee constituted to examine the report of Madhavan Commission has completed its work and would submit its report to the Finance Department within next two weeks.

The Minister said the present Central and state governments are safeguarding the interests of the employees. He said it is for the first time that the central government had issued a notification after accepting the report of pay commission within six months.
