Dear Comrades

Sub: Outcome of the Informal Discussion held today with the Railway Board on Charter of Demands of Strike

The issues related to Charter of Demands of Strike, pertaining to Ministry of Railways, have been discussed today, i.e. on 21^st July, 2016, informally, with the Railway Board.

The issue of Merger of Technician Gr. II with I and that related to medically de-categorizedRunning Staff (55% retirement benefit) are likely to be considered favourably.

The issue of granting Group `B’ status to Sr. Supervisors has also been discussed at length, and it has been assured that, reference made to Ministry of Finance shall be pursued vigorously, and federations will be made to known its outcome at an earliest.

Smart Card Facility for providing cashless treatment to RELHS beneficiaries has been made, and letter to this effect is likely to be issued by tomorrow.

Other issues will be discussed in tomorrow’s meeting and final outcome shall be communicated to all of you in due course.
