Staffers of 3 tech varsities to get 7th pay panel benefits

The Haryana Government has decided to extend the benefit of the 7th Pay Commission to the teaching staff and equivalent cadres in three technical universities falling under the state Higher Education Department. A proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

While stating this here on Monday, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said these included Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar; JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA Faridabad; and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal.

He said the revised pay would be implemented from January 1, 2016, and it would have financial implication of over Rs 10 crore on state exchequer.
