8th Central Pay Commission ने Central Government Employees Group Insurance Scheme (CGEGIS) से संबंधित विस्तृत historical data collect किया है। Revised Annexure-M में 2017–18 से 2025–26 तक के नौ financial years के लिए Group A, B और C employees के insurance payouts, savings payouts तथा service के दौरान हुई deaths की year-wise information मांगी गई थी।
Commission ने 3 सितंबर के communication में पहले मांगी गई information को expand करते हुए 2020–21, 2021–22 और 2022–23 के additional data को भी revised format में शामिल किया था। Submission की निर्धारित deadline 17 सितंबर 2026 थी।
Government Employees के लिए महत्व
यह development इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि CGEGIS के insurance और savings components से जुड़े actual payout data को 8th CPC के broader review के सामने रखा जा रहा है।
महत्वपूर्ण सावधानी
इस data collection को CGEGIS benefit increase की घोषणा नहीं माना जा सकता। उपलब्ध communication केवल data collection बताता है; insurance cover, subscription या savings benefit में कोई नया revision इससे स्वतः लागू नहीं हुआ है।
Practical Implications
Employees को अभी किसी assumed CGEGIS hike को salary planning में शामिल नहीं करना चाहिए। यदि 8th CPC आगे कोई recommendation करता है, तभी policy-level change स्पष्ट होगा।
